The SAP Centre of Excellence is a multidisciplinary team of highly specialised professionals in the technical field of SAP products. We guide our customers from the initial definition of the business processes until their final implantation. We manage the projects, whether they involve SAP consultancy, development, or infrastructures. We also maintain and update a wide range of applications deployed in different SAP solutions of the CaixaBank group with a corporate vision.
The solutions of the SAP portfolio that are part of the range we manage are as follows:
- SAP ERP (ECC, S/4HAHA) in the fields of (Finances, Controlling, Logistics, Real Estate, Maintenance, Project Management, and others)
- SAP C/X (Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud & Services Cloud)
- SAP Ariba
- SAP BI (BW, BO), SAP Analytics Cloud
- SAP BPC
- SAP HCM, SAP Success Factors
- SAP PI/PO
Duties:
- Identifying synergies and dependencies between the different business units and defining action plans involving SAP’s Business Intelligence
- Ensuring that products implemented or developed are consistent with the overall business strategy
- Finding solutions that cover the business needs with sustainable approaches to technology (resource consumption, maintainability, etc.)
- Responsible for the economic, functional and technical planning of the projects assigned. Identifying opportunities for improvement
- Defining and directing the implementation of new business solutions in different SAP environments: BusinesswareHouse, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP HANA
- Guaranteeing the correct implementation of the solutions developed in the different locations and/or different SAP BI environments of the group and in accordance with CaixaBank Tech’s security and development standards and policies
- Involved in all the life cycle phases, assisting and reviewing designs, modelling, configurations, as well as supervising test plans, the implementation process and support
- Anticipating risks, identifying the problems and circumstances that harm the project and recommending realistic solutions that are within reach of the team
If you are passionate about...
Key skills and requirements:
- Advanced degree, preferably in Computer Science or Telecommunications
- SAP certification within the scope of SAP Business Intelligence is required, or more than 5 years’ experience in SAP Business Intelligence implementations (SAP BW, SAP BO, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP HANA) for complex business groups
- Broad knowledge of SAPBW and SAPfrontend tools that include SAP BI in Modelling, Reporting, Query Designer, System administration, Table storage maintenance, Security, Configuration and Activation of business content
- Knowledge of the banking, public, real estate, retail or services sectors is required
- Experience in implementations in SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP HANA is preferred
- Other SAP functional certifications a plus
- Experience in other functional modules of the SAP ERPs, such as Real Estate Flexible (RE-FX), Finances (FI), Purchasing (MM), Sales (SD), PM (Plant maintenance) or SAP C/X platforms (Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud & Services Cloud) will be considered
- Integrity and accountability, identifying threats and consulting with others on to how to mitigate them
- Ability to anticipate potential changes in order to adapt to them quickly, both personally and as a team
- Redefining complex problems in simple terms and weighing the solutions identified
- Ability to understand and assimilate the specific business needs at the portfolio level
- Ability to promote the strengths of the department and to align them with the global objectives
- Ability to promote the development and learning of others
- Communication and influence: ability to speak in public on a regular basis, convince, and convey strategies applicable to multiple locations
- Management of mixed multidisciplinary internal and external teams from different companies and vendors
- High level of English: conversational level required
