What your day to day life will look like...
The candidate will work on the design of data solutions and will join the team that is building the Group’s new information platform
- Provide development frameworks for processing data
- Design and supervise the development and implementation of a cross-functional data platform and its applications
The responsibilities of this position include:
- You will be part of the Data Department team.
- Together with the team, you will participate in building the different solutions that the Data team provide to CaixaBank’s IT area.
- Searching for and assessing new technologies that allow the solution to be improved. Implementation of proofs of concept of said technology
- Data transformation projects, data processing, governance tools, display tools.
- Ensure all the pieces designed and developed are consistent and work well together
- Ensure compliance with the corporate standards specified by the architecture and security teams.
- In this area, projects will be developed to implement various cloud data solutions
Key skills and requirements:
- Required Training/Education: Computer Engineering / Telecommunications, Degree in Mathematics, Physics or similar.
- Advanced principles of software architecture
- Languages: Spoken and written English.
- Communication. Committed person.
- Teamwork. Interested in professional development. Adaptation. Service-oriented.
- Organised and decisive person.
- Knowledge of and experience with container platforms (docker, k8s, Openshift…) and some of the various cloud providers (Google, Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud), preferably Google.
- Knowledge and experience in ALM tools (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Selenium …) a plus.
- Knowledge of agile working methodologies.
- Skills and experience supervising technical teams.
